AHMED DEEDAT AND THE MATHEMATICAL CODE 19 IN THE QUR’AAN
THE EVIDENCE DOES NOT PROVE RASHAD KHALIFA WAS A MESSENGER
Ahmed Deedat recognized and publicly promoted the remarkable mathematical evidence associated with the number 19 in the Qur’aan. In his book: Al-Qur’aan: The Ultimate Miracle, he openly acknowledged the early research and findings of Rashad Khalifa. However, this must never be confused with accepting Rashad Khalifa’s later claims about himself. Ahmed Deedat did NOT accept Rashad Khalifa’s later claim to be a Messenger of Allah. This distinction is extremely important. One can examine the mathematical structure associated with 19, recognize genuine mathematical relationships within the Qur’aan, and still completely reject Rashad Khalifa’s claim that he was the “Messenger of the Covenant” or that he is the Messenger of Allah described in Qur’aan 81:19-23. Therefore, the inclusion of Ahmed Deedat’s historical work as a FREE download should not be understood as an endorsement of Rashad Khalifa’s later shirk claims about himself. Rather, it allows readers to examine an important early presentation of the mathematical evidence while keeping that evidence entirely separate from Rashad Khalifa’s subsequent claims of Messengership.

DO NOT CONFUSE THE DIVINE MATHEMATICAL CODE 19
WITH RASHAD KHALIFA’S LATER CLAIMS
The Divine Mathematical Code 19 that Allah has revealed in the Qur’aan has nothing to do with Rashad Khalifa’s shirk or his later claims about himself. This mathematical structure did not originate with Rashad Khalifa. It was already embedded within the Qur’aan when Allah revealed it more than 1,400 years ago. Rashad Khalifa did not create this mathematical structure—he brought attention to mathematical patterns within the scripture of Allah—The Holy Qur’aan—that had existed for centuries before he was born. Unfortunately, because Rashad Khalifa became so closely associated with the mathematical Code 19, his later claims about himself caused some people to distance themselves from the entire subject. Others never seriously investigated the mathematical evidence at all. Rejecting Rashad Khalifa’s later claims about himself does not require a person to automatically reject every mathematical observation associated with his earlier research. Mathematical claims should be examined, calculated, verified, and judged according to the evidence. This is one reason Ahmed Deedat’s book Al-Qur’aan: The Ultimate Miracle remains valuable. Ahmed Deedat presented these mathematical observations to the public and encouraged his readers to examine the evidence for themselves.
At the same time, accepting mathematical evidence concerning the Qur’aan does NOT establish that Rashad Khalifa was the “Messenger of the Covenant” or the “Messenger of Allah” nor does it establish that he is the Messenger described in Qur’aan 81:19-23. Rashad Khalifa’s name appears nowhere in the Qur’aan, nor is it mathematically encoded within the Qur’aan. The Qur’aan existed before Rashad Khalifa. The prime number 19 existed in the Qur’aan before Rashad Khalifa. And the mathematical evidence must be examined independently of Rashad Khalifa.
There are scholars, shaykhs, muftis, researchers, and Muslims throughout the world who have independently examined the mathematical Code 19 and who recognize compelling mathematical evidence within the Qur’aan. Below is Dr. Shabir Ally in an interview discussing the mathematical code 19 of the Qur’aan:
He has said this about the mathematical code 19 of the Qur’aan: “It is in some very key places enough to make us realize that there is a plan here and it was not a human plan.” His statement here makes it very clear that this mathematical system superimposed upon the Arabic text could not have been created by man but by The Source of all that exists which is ALLAH.
